Cyber Defense Institute Engineers to Present at "VB2024"

Our engineer Shota Nakajima will be presenting at "VB2024," held in Dublin, Ireland from October 2-4, 2024. This conference features talks by experts across various fields of security, and serves as an ideal venue for networking with peers through poster sessions, sharing ideas, gathering feedback, building connections, and learning.

Nakajima will deliver a presentation titled "IcePeony with the '996' work culture."

The talk focuses on a Chinese-affiliated APT group that targeted government agencies in South Asia in July 2024. It provides a detailed explanation of intrusion evidence left on the attack infrastructure, and shares analysis of commands, tools, and malware used in the attacks, offering insights into potentially affected organizations.
